Technique Analysis is a full Dive (or push) 25, 50 or 100 which is designed to simulate a race segment. It is important to evaluate technique at “Race Pace”. This analysis incorporates three camera views all in one 25 or 50.

- Start is over water camera switching to underwater as the swimmer breaks the surface.
- Underwater side view camera tracks the swimmer the length of the 25 including the turn and switches to front view at the appropriate time.
- Underwater front view camera picks up the swimmer as they approaches the finish, whereupon the final 2.5 m is switched back to the over water view.

All of the Race Analysis parameters are also recorded for Underwater Technique Analysis. This allows the coach to compare Race and Technique Analysis performances.

- Running time, split times, lap segment times (LC or SC)
- Start Index (15m), Turn Index (15m), Finish Index (5m).
- Race Segment Velocities (V - m/s).
- Clean swim values: Distance per Stroke (DPS - m), Stroke Rates (SR - cycles/min) and Stroke Cycle Time (SCT - sec).
- Swim Efficiency Index (SI = V x DPS) is added to the data.

Teams can book Technique Analysis at Talisman or in their home pool.
